There are many reasons why so many people get involved in MLM. Many MLM Pro's have a secure 6 figure income to retire securely on. Since I have looked at the MLM Marketplace over the last 20 years, it seems as though many MLM distributors make the same mistakes over and over again. It is not because the average Mlmer distributor doesn't understand the concept of MLM. It is mainly because most Mlmer's choose to follow what their sponsor told them to do or simply just following Company directives. They are doing exactly what they are told to do and still failing in the process. A reason why most people fail in an MLM Business is because they are told to approach their friends and relatives and pitch them about the business. This is an easy path to failure, since most of the people anyone knows is generally not interested in starting an MLM Business. This can lead to early disappointment and drive the new MLM distributor from the business. A new distributor should only contact people who are interested in starting a business. There are many Lead companies available on the Internet, and you can find them easily by doing a Google search. Another mistake most new MLM distributors make is to fall for the concept of Quick Riches.They generally believe it when a person tells them how they are making $10,000 a month after only a week in the business. What they fail to see is that this person has probably moved a downline from one opportunity to another one. Or maybe they spent years developing a large list and now they can mail almost anything to it and make money.Patience is the key to success in this business. If you understand the principles of MLM and stick to your plan and don't quit......eventualy you will make money. You must always build a firm foundation of distributors and train them to do the same things you do. Staywith the same company and teach others to "duplicate" what you are doing. A lot has changed since Amway, Shaklee, and Herbalife dominated the MLM Landscape. Once, when there were a few companies, now there are thousands of MLM Companies and even more starting up everyday. The available pool of MLM Distributors has basically stayed the same or increased little. There are 15-20 million MLM distributors today, yet there are thousands of companies competing for these people vs maybe only 50 companies 15 years ago. Because of this, most people make the mistake of choosing the wrong product to promote. What does this mean? Everybody is competing for a smaller and smaller share of the available distributor base. So, if your MLM company is marketing the latest "Juice Secret Product from deep in the Chinese Mountains", be certain that 100's of others will at least offer the same product, and for some of them it will be their flagship product too. I know you can see where this is leading to. Be just like the merchants in 1849 in California, You need to sell the "picks and the shovels" the MLM distributor needs. This way you can market to everyone involved in the industry, not just a small part of it. The Gold Diggers rarely got rich, but the merchants nearly always did. You can Make Money in MLM. All you need to do is make the right choices.
