Whether you are either young or a bodybuilding novice, it is crucial that this be read before you reach a decision that can and will alter the rest of your life. So the big question is are you too young? Well in response to numerous e-mails on Cycles from youngsters, I decided to write this article. Here are a few examples of their e-mails.

"Is 16 too young to start my first AS cycle? My buddy has recommended that I start out with sus, nandrolone and dianabol. He also says anadrol would be good too although they are quite expensive. What kind of cycle would you recommend and how should I take it?" "I have made up my mind to start on steroids. I know I am young at 17 but feel that I have reached my genetic potential. I just want to add some muscle size and lose some bodyfat but not get too massive."

I am hoping to start a cycle using Naposim. What way would you structure it and do you know of anything else I could take with it to help. I am not interested in injectables as they frighten me plus I still live with my parents so it would be kinda difficult for me, so am hoping to do an oral only cycle. Also do you think my friends at school will be able to tell ie. Will I get bad acne and get aggressive?"

Although these are just a couple of examples, there are many more and the norm is that they have already made the decision to start taking steroids. It is just a desperate search for other young people that agree with them, which gives them the confidence to start. I have given countless advice to these CHILDREN, but Im afraid it normally falls on deaf ears.

If you are young or even just new to the bodybuilding scene then I urge you to read this before making a decision that can and will change the rest of your life forever. Hopefully if someone out there in this position reads this, then they will at least be able to make a much more informed decision. If so then my job is done.

Nowadays it is almost common knowledge that the majority of serious bodybuilders as well as athletes use both steroids and performance enhancing drugs inorder to become the world's best. These drugs are effective but only if administered correctly, otherwise serious side effects will become apparent and especially at a young age. It was in the 80s when the press began to expose drug use and since the arrival of the internet information is more widely available.

Some of that information is good but the majority is bullshit. Sadly youngster's are now able to access this information and are being much too impatient in the persuit of their goals. I have heard of people as young as 13 taking gear and have witnessed people as young as 15 actually handing out cycle advice over the internet. At that age the only cycle I was interested in was my BMX!

"As teenagers, boys naturally have high testosterone levels anyway, hence we see growth spurts at that age in males." "Taking exogenous anabolic steroids and other hormones too young can play absolute havoc in the body during this delicate time of development." (Dont miss part 2)
