WAH Opportunities - What Newbies Often Fall For (Part 1)

Lots of folks are lead to believe that an online home business will easily make them able to supplement their income, or replace their current 9-5 job. Sadly, they join opportunity after opportunity that turn out to be nothing but scams, and leave them flat broke.

It is a proven fact that the majority of so called home based business opportunities are nothing but scams. The hard part is to find the legitimate ones.

If this is your first time to search for a legitimate work from home online business, it will be hard for you to see what is real and what not. The bad guys are clever, they know exactly how to lure you into joining them.

Their websites look wonderful, their sales copy is great, and they even "prove" their success to you by showing you a picture of the master, sitting in his hammock on an Hawaiian beach, drinking his favorite cocktail! They even show you copies of statements of their earnings to prove their success.

Just imagine, we see this great opportunity to make a living from the internet. We read through their great sales copy, and see "testimonials" from people that have made a fortune from promoting this opportunity. These are just statements from people we don't even know exist for real!

They count on you falling for that crap! The pictures they show you could just as well have been copied from some catalogues or be photoshopped some way to fool you, you have no way of verifying that anything they claim is really true. Just keep in mind that if the opportunity seems too good to be true, it most probably is.

What you need to do, and that is extremely important, you need to learn to distinguish between honest opportunities and scams. Among the things you should do is to investigate their business model, customer support, how long they have been in business, and if they provide you with everything you need to build a successful business.

Do you have any background in working on the internet? Do you have any experience in website design, do you know anything about keywords, search engine optimization or meta tags or any of the stuff that comes with your online business?
