The internet has provided many, many opportunities for people to make their living and be their own boss. There are so many different ways to make money online now but what people really want is passive income. If someone asked you whether or not you would rather work 6 hours a day, everyday and make a nice income or work 6 hours a day for two months and still reap the rewards of that work for years to come, which would you choose? Introducing Adsense. The great thing about adsense is the fact that it can provide you with an income without continual work. Don't get me wrong, you definitely have to work to make money but with adsense you can get to a stage in which you are making money with very, very little effort. This article will hopefully inspire you to start your own adsense empire today. I am going to tell you how to get started with absolutely no cost at all. 1) Pick your niche. There are literally niches everywhere. Think about what you enjoy, your hobbies, your past jobs, anything that you can write about. If you're really stuck then just take a walk around your local area and I'm sure you will think of something. Your niche can be about almost anything. When you just start out, don't worry if you make a wrong turn or after a while you do not think your niche is profitable because everyone makes mistakes and you can always learn from those mistakes and get yourself in the right direction. 2)Get a free blog at blogger.com and start researching keywords. Blogger will allow you to open up free blogs and install adsense on them. Start out with just one and focus on it. To do your keyword research, you can go to goodkeywords.com and download their free software. This software will allow you to research keywords and phrases. You can find out how many times a phrase is searched for per month and by typing it into google, you can find out how much competition you have. For your first blog I would suggest you try and find a niche that does not have a lot of competition. Choose around thiry keyphrases for you to write about in your blog. 3)Write at least one blog post every two days. If you can write one a day, even better. The more posts and content you have then the more chance you have of getting traffic. Each post should be around a different keyprase and the keyword density should be around 2 - 5%. Use the keywords in you post title too. When search engines are looking for a particular phrase, one of the most important factors is the keyword density of your page. Let's say for example someone searches for "dog training tips" then the search engines will find all web pages with that phrase and will measure how many times that phrase appears on the page. Ideally around 2 - 5% is best. However, that does not mean that you should just write anything as long as it contains your keywords, you should always write to the best of your ability as doing this should result in return visitors. 4)Ping your posts. After every post you make to your blog you should always ping it. This means letting certain sites know that new content has been added to your blog therefore resulting in the search engines picking it up quicker and generating you more traffic. You can ping your site at pingoat.com for free. 5)Start building backlinks. Search engines look at links to a site as a "vote" for it. If you have 100 sites linking to you, then you have 100 "votes" for your site. Generally the more backlinks you have to your site then the higher your search rankings will be and ultimately the more traffic you will get. However, while the more the better is generally correct, a big factor is the quality of these "votes" for your site. When just starting to gain backlinks to your blog, I would look for one way link directories. Go to google and search for "link directory" and look for directories that do not require a reciprical link and that have a category relevant to your blog subject. 6) Write and publish articles on article directories. Writing articles will do three things for you, they will gain you backlinks to your site from other sites, they will gain you visitors via the articles themselves in article directories and they will brand your name as being knowledgeable in your niche. The better quality your articles are then the more chance you have of obtaining these three things. If you qrite a good informative article about your niche then hopefully it will be picked up by many other webmasters to use on their site, it will have more of an effect on the reader therefore generating interest in you and your blog and it will make you become known to the readers as an expert in your niche. When you understand those 6 steps, take it to the next level. You do it all again but better. A big key to success is duplication. If you have one site that earns you $30 a day then why not have ten sites that earn you $300 a day? Master how to gain good backlinks and loads of them, improve your writing skills and generally just create unlimited adsense revenue. Before you can have real success online you MUST learn. Learn the tricks of the trade and learn how to increase your profit while decreasing your workload.
